Here are a few shots of the main floor of the house I'm staying in. On the left in the living room is a sofa bed; I've covered it with a flannel sheet so that it doesn't accumulate cat hair and dander. Note Tinkerbell lounging on it. The third photo shows the other end of the room, with the laundry room / bathroom on the left and the kitchen on the right.
The working end of the kitchen. There's really no pantry space, so I have non-refrigerated food sitting on the counter top on the right. Behind the camera is an area with a dining table and a door to the back yard.
I've set up my laptop and its accoutrements at one end of a nice slate-tiled porch, just off the living room. The porch has a ceiling fan, which is a huge help.
Upstairs (not pictured) is a master bedroom, a second bedroom, and a small room set up as a "meditation area".
It's a nice amount of space for me, and for one guest. With only one bathroom and two bedrooms, it's not really set up for larger groups.
It's been extremely hot here the past few days -- mid to upper 90s F. Today was marginally cooler, and it's supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow and the weekend. I hope so.
